THANK YOU!

If you haven't heard, the 1st Annual Interbike Tweetup was a huge success! Our heartfelt thanks go out to over 200 peeps that came out to win some incredible schwag and helped us raise over $1,500 for the National MS Society and AIDS/LifeCycle.

We hope you had as much fun as we did. We look forward to doing this bigger and better next year!!

If you have pictures from the tweetup, please share them by posting a link in the comments section. In the meantime, here are some from @matthewscd. And more from @carsonblume. Thanks Chris & Carson!

CHARITY RAFFLE

We know, we just finished telling you the schwag raffle would be free - but then the light bulbs went on... Why not make it a charity raffle?

The overall response has been a resounding 'YES'. So we're doing it!

Please, take the time to answer our poll and let us know what price point you would be willing to donate to charity. Because all raffle items have been donated, 100% of the proceeds from the raffle will be donated to a charitible organization. This year, we have chosen two that will share the funds equally - the National MS Society and AIDS/LifeCycle. We hope you all participate and help us make this a worthy cause.

MORE SCHWAG!!

THE COUNTDOWN BEGINS

In less than one week, Lavo Restaurant, Bathhouse and Nightclub will host the biggest tweetup in Interbike history! ARE YOU READY?

Aside from partaking in some adult beverages and good conversation, we're adding several elements that will make this a tweetup - one to remember.

Let's start with the Schwag Raffle. The raffle is just for fun - there is no fee to enter. All you have to do is ask for a raffle ticket from one of the team members when you arrive. If you don't know who we are - this will be a good way for you to mingle as you try to find us.

So what's on the Schwag list? Well, to start...

More items will be added to the list as the week progresses. If you have any schwag that you would like to share, just DM @bike_tweetup and we'll put you on the list.

If you haven't heard, Interbike is expanding Interbike TV to cover both the show floor and after show events. These means you just might end up on TV!

Finally - don't forget to make your dinner reservations now at Lavo for later in the week. Don't wait till the last minute!

THE VENUE

Many thanks to The Palazzo Las Vegas, who have generously provided us with one of the most fabulous venues on the strip. On Tuesday, September 22 at 7pm, the Lavo Restaurant, Bathhouse and Nightclub at The Palazzo will be turned into the 2009 Tweetup!

Over the coming weeks, we will be working with the Lavo team to ensure we have plenty of fun, delicious food and of course, drinks. In the meantime, check out their menus and make plans for dinner after the tweetup or later in the week. Make reservations now!

What kind of party would it be if we didn't have schwag?! Every tweep will have the opportunity to win schwag - just make sure to get your raffle ticket from one of the coordinating team members when you arrive.

If you have schwag you want to raffle off - let us know. Simply send us a DM (direct message), or leave a comment here and we'll put you on the list.
